Finished!!!!

So after a few long days/nights we finally finished!!!!!  It feels so great to see everything come togther.  I just love how our fabric pulls everything togther.  We used a outdoor/upolstry fabric for the benches and drop clothes for the curtains.  I fell in love with the bunk end fabric and it was 80% off.  Thank goodness my husband can sew.  We just stapled the fabric for the benches.  He also rebuilt the tabletop.  We just loved Becca’s table that was featured on The Popup Princess    Now we can’t wait to go camping.  We still have work to do on the outside of the camper so that is our next project.  That’s it for now!

I love your camper remodel! We just bought a 2004 Fleetwood a few days ago and I am inspired to spruce it up! What is the fabric you used to upholster the benches? I love the dark gray!

    Thanks!

I just bought the exact same trailer. I was so excited to see your remodel on pop up princess!! We plan on redoing the flooring so I had a question for you – does the slide out still slide smoothly? Was their room underneath? How did you do the new floor underneath the slide out? Thanks so much!

Congrats on your new pop up!!! We did not replace any flooring under the slide out. We just replaced the flooring that you would see (hope that make sense). We just put flooring right up to where the slide out meets the regular flooring and maybe a tad underneath but we never had any issues with it sliding and we just left the old flooring down and went right over top. So excited for you and would love to see your final pictures!!!!

I love Pop up Princess and your makeover is one of my favorites! Just wondered how the finishes are holding up to your clamping trips and if there is anything you would have done differently. Than you!

Thank you so much! We actually sold our beloved Bertha. We camped with her seven times I think before we sold her. We purchased a hybrid. We completely refinished it as well. I have a few more finishing touches to do but they will have to wait till spring and then I will put up some before and after picture up on my blog. I felt everything held up great in Bertha. I think if I would do it all over and knew I was going to sell in less than a year I might have spent a little less on the fabric for the seat cushions. In our new camper we purchased drop clothes and recovered our sofa and dinette cushions. It has held up really well so far. The color is great because it hides dirt really well. I promise to share the new makeover come spring. It’s beautiful and we love the extra space and amenities that comes with our new to us hybrid. We really enjoyed Bertha and I’m happy to say her owners are loving her as much as we did😊
